From the shape of the track and what looks to be a claw mark on one toe I'd say it was a canine. Big dog of some sort.

In my opinion coyotes and mountain lions take a lot of the blame for what dogs do. Once dogs start chasing cattle it becomes a game. Coyotes come in to clean up the cows after they've died from exhaustion. The rancher sees the aftermath and the dogs get off scott free.

One of my buddies ran cattle for over 50 years and he said he never saw coyotes actively killing cattle. Packs of dogs were another story. He shot numerous dogs that were chasing livestock.
