I made a cherry one for a client and have the other half still. I would sell it cheap

There is/was a cedar shop in Bertram. You may want to check it out.

small world. My brother lives just north of Floresville in eagle creek ranch. I'll send a PM.

We have 2 fireplaces. I cut a couple oak trees in our pasture and took the logs to a guy locally that has a saw mill. We didn’t do live edge, but that’s obviously an option. Came out nice looking.

When my son and his wife built their house last year, I cut another log for them. Theirs came out really nice too. I had the extra from all those logs cut into 2” slabs. I haven’t decided what to use them for yet.

Shane, those look very nice. I like oak as well as the mesquite I've been seeing. And... cedar as well. gonna be busy tomorrow morning looking at blanks. then back home for opening ceremonies for "T" ball. I'm coaching my grandsons team. I like the grain pattern in your mantels.

I didn't see the other pictures. You got some big ol' oak logs there.

I have an 81x19x16 pecan log here at the ranch that I was gonna do something with but you're welcome to it. I have pics if you want to look at it, send me a cell # as I have given up trying to post pics.
