Wife told me today she won the bid in an auction for an Africa hunting trip with Signature Adventures in Limpopo Africa. Never been to Africa so what caliber rifle is needed for a Cape Buffalo? Also would like a kudu or a big Croc?

Mine is 55" that I took in 2008. He has killed several over 60". Let me find the pics and I will put them up. Like I saids, Harry manages for trophy animals. 50" minimum on Kudu! He had me pass a 53" Kudu the first evening I sat in a blind in 2006!

I’d Just rent their guns. Much easier that way

my Cousin shot his kudu with a 308

My 5th trip over and the wife will join me for her 3rd trip over. Going back with Harry Nel and African Arrow Safaris. Springbok Slam on my mind. 19 critters hunting with Harry so far. Biggest problem is I have very little room left for mounts or even Euros!
                    Awesome...good luck!

I'm guessing these are the greater Kudu that is found more up in Botwana vs the East Cape Kudu found in South Africa?

Also is a East Cape Kudu the same thing as a Lesser Kudu?

Harry’s property is just South of Botswana in the Limpopo Province.

Gotcha. So I guess these are considered Greater Kudu? I'm just starting to look into this Africa stuff and my all time since I was a kid bucket list item is Kudu. I am aware of Greater and Lesser Kudu but some places call theirs East Cape Kudu and I'm not quite sure what that means or if there is a big difference between Greater and East Cape Kudu.

Pretty good idea of where each one is!

Known for impressive spiral horns & doe-eyed, graceful countenance, the kudu is a fascinating antelope and an icon of the African safari
