I feel for the guy. I watched a BIL drink himself to death by the time he was 46. Talk about alot to lose (your life) and not be able to stop. Serious addiction there. GOd bless him.

        Couldn't have said it better.

Very sad. Forget baseball, hope he can get his personal life straightened out.

I posted a video of my best friend Chris Harris awhile back . It was his story of meth addiction. If somebody can bring it here thanks.

I would agree, but I'm not sure baseball doesn't make it easier for him. I don't know Josh, obviously....or his day to day situation (aside from what I read/hear). But it almost seems that the daily routine and structure of baseball may help him hold things together some, it seems like I may have heard him say something like that several years ago when he first got here.

What ever it takes, I hope he gets himself in a better place to keep his life together, baseball or not.

Prayers ^^^^ for a brother whose struggling

IMO - Josh needs to find a sponsor NOW and work the 12 step program 24/7/365 . Perhaps be more selective on his friends and realize you will not find peace & serenity in a bar / nightclub

As a drug addict and alcoholic ... He needs to understand that he cannot have just 1 drink EVER !

I can relate to his demons since I live them daily . I'm not upset with his decision, just ticked off at the disease that has claimed several of my friends
