Winter is officially over

Hummingbirds showed up on the porch Friday, whatever that signifies.

I have a couple that showed up last week but they are the scouts. The big flight has not arrived yet but should show up this week if it is a typical spring. I don't think that we are finished with the cold weather. It thundered in February so I think we will have at least a freeze in April.

We should be done...smelled the citrus blooms before I saw them a week or two ago & now my mesquites, fiddlewood & manzanitas followed suit.

Think the bugs are about to explode with this rain too.
