None at my house yet. I always turn the outside light on my shop off when they show up every year. It helps a lot and any other outside lights as well.

Insecticide application to the yard helps big time!

Turn off all lights at night. That is what attracts them. Fun fact…over exposure to light kills them. That’s why there are so many dead ones in the morning.

Starting to see some, but not too bad.

Also waiting for the army worms. At one of my leases a couple years ago it was an infestation. Blanketed outside on patio, kept getting into the cabin, and falling from the ceiling onto people. Haha

East Wilson county (south east of San Antonio) has then coming out. They aren’t bad yet but just give it another week or two and I’ll be getting dive bombed by them.

As a kid, my buddies and I would spend hours under the street light out front with our custom made June bug paddles swatting them. Didn’t take much to keep us entertained back then. But I still reflect fondly on those times even today.

My chickens would go buck wild if they saw that many. Haven't seen many in Houston area yet.

Been spending past week at least picking up 100 a night on the back porch and putting them in jar for the chickens. Free Free protein for the chickens.
