I have a 2022. I get 18 driving in economy mode. I have had 3 new Tundras since 2010. This is my last one. These ain’t your daddy’s Tundra. Mine currently has 2 recalls (that they can’t fix) and other issues I have been trying to get addressed for a year. It may just be the s—t stick dealer (Cedar Park Toyota). I’m not buying another one.
A guy at work has a 23. It’s been in the shop 3/4 times for major work. Has another recall to be addressed soon. When it’s not in the shop it runs great and gets 17-19.
My FIL has one and hasnt had any issues with his yet. I think he has like 40k miles on it. I have a 23 F150 with a 5.0 and i wish i would have got an older one with the 6speed transmission. I cant stand this 10 speed.
Absolutely no way I’d touch a new one with the v6 hybrid, yet. They seem to be having way too many issues. I wanted one really bad, but decided I’d better hold off when the used market is flooded with very low mile units, presumably from people tired of the issues.
I’ve heard the 24s have fixed the past issues, but have issues of their own.
Neighbor has a ‘23 & I was thinking of getting one so I asked him how he was liking it and he said he hated it. He’s had several electrical issues, cruise stopped working, phone won’t sync, and the dealer reinstalled some plate wrong under the truck and caused some damage but won’t fix it. He says he’s fighting with Toyota to buy it back as a lemon. Not what I wanted to hear, so since there’s nothing but paint wrong with it, I’m sticking with my ‘06 Dodge for awhile longer.
I have a 24 Limited with 7000 miles on it, been a good truck so far. I don't tow much so can't help there. I do get around 18 mpg but I drive the heck out of it. I did not buy the hybrid motor.
I have a 2019 and had almost 0 issues with it....I usually trade every 3 years but not this time...I like the V8 and don't care for a hybrid or turbo v6....to many issues with the new ones!
