The one time I went was Jan 1-7 and most of the deer were broken up. May have been caused by a drought though.

If you're feeder hunting, Early season or mid to late January is best..... We tend to see new bucks show up 12/15 - 1/4

We use Santa Maria feed delivered directly to ranch. I recently had it tested and quality was good . The building is located on hwy 2 past airport.

Hidalgo to Laredo did pretty good. Don't think we got more than a sprinkle around Santa Monica.

About time, We haven't gotten much around Hidalgo this year.

We missed this last one with only sprinkles. 4 Inches last month on Zancudo and 5 on Zorro so we're in really good shape still. If we can squeeze out an inch or 2 this month we'll be game on.
