Emoji posting problem

Mine does exactly what Bisch has stated. More often than not, it will put the site emojis anywhere from two to five words back from where you want it. However, the phone emojis seem to work perfectly.

I’m not an iPhone person but I was able to borrow my wife’s iPhone. I typed out this sentence and then placed the emoji where I wanted them.

note, the first emoji I tapped ended up at the end of my sentence. I re-tapped where I wanted the emoji to go, clicked ‘space’ and then the emoji and it ended up where I wanted it

something odd but seems to be limited to iPhone safari.
when I click ‘done’ to hide the keyboard and then click an emoji, it is placed at the very top of my reply.

oh well, for now it’s the price to pay for those who ‘think differently’

A little more digging, the text editor box used by the website is a common piece of code called ckeditor , used everywhere.

The cursor jumping around is a known issue discussed here , and here . There are probably more examples.

I didn't find any fixes to apply yet but I'll keep my eyes open.

That dosen’t work!!!! Lots of times I have to just hit return to get it to go down a line then put the emoji in. It’s a big PITA. The same thing happens with pics. You can’t type a story and put pics in between paragraphs where you want them. That part still sucks!!!! I’m using an iPhone XR
