I was mowing and the mower hit a rock that hit one of our lower panes. I took very precise measurements (length, width, and thickness) and had our local glass and mirror shop build one for me. They couldn't match the aluminum divider perfectly. I popped the quarter round off of the outside and cleaned out all of the old pane, put a little clear silicone around the perimeter of the opening, then put it back together. If you don't have one, get a little nail setter for trim work and use a little hammer.

I bought a piece online. I think it was One Day Glass ( takes about a week or two ). You can choose thickness, tint, color of the spacer etc. Just a guess but that piece is probably $60-$80 ( assuming its the one individual small piece )
None of the local glass companies wanted to just sell the glass, and all wanted to do the labor for some insane price, like 3 times the cost of a new window.Last edited by miket; 02-10-2024, 05:59 AM.

I would start at pease doors or diy door store (both online). If the entire grid system just sandwiches the glass to hold it in, it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement and DIY it.
I may be wrong, as all the doors I have just have one big panel of glass and the divided lights are just on the exterior. But I ordered new frames from them to make all my french doors have just glass without the grids and it was a pretty easy project.
