I ended up getting the solo about $75 a $100 more than that when the dog in to their discounts.

One plus I forgot. The flames once going are hypnotic and relaxing. Especially after a few drinks.

Walmart carries a 15" collapsible fire pit by Ozark, $97. Seems to fit some peoples needs.

Does the bottom get super hot? Meaning, can it sit on a wooden deck or composite deck without melting/burning it? Or does it need to be on concrete or rock?

I highly recommend the heat deflector as well. You can also put a pan on the top of the deflector to heat things up.

It does get rather warm! We have indoor/ outdoor carpet in our patio but I place a 4’x4’ piece of 5/8” plywood directly under the stove and the plywood just has a warm feeling to it.

I had it on grass and the grass was not damaged at all. I don’t think they get too hot on bottom. The newer design has a stand it comes with but mine did not

The package I got had a 2-3 inch stand. I use it on our travertine patio and have used in grass. I have not noticed any signs if of heat.
