I sold a Leopold "RX II" recently that was brand new,for a 100 dollar bill....I love their scopes, but I will never buy another rangefinder as long as I'm alive from Leopold....Neither will the TBH'er that bought it!

I just checked Amazon and I can ge the Bushnell Chuck Adams to my door for $179 and the Nikon Archer's Choice for $225. Both got great reviews on Amazon as well.

I've got an old Bushnell that refuses to die, but is not as quick to grab a range as it used to be.
The Chuck Adams looks like it will be a good replacement.

I've got a Bushnell 1000 ARC, and I honestly don't need the ARC. The only time I shoot at something with an extreme angle, it's less than 20 yards, and the POI is so minimal that it doesn't matter. A friend of mine has a Leica, which is what my next one will be. They are far better for ranging at longer distances.

I had a Bushnell ARC 1000 until my truck was broken in to and stolen. I liked it OK but it was expensive $300+. I'm not gonna pay that much for the next one.

I'm not even sure I'm gonna get one with ARC. It didn't seem that useful even when hunting 20 feet up. The difference in yardage was negligible.
The Redfield's get great reviews at Bass Pro and Cabelas websites and are very affordable but I don't think they have a model with ARC.
The bold type is what I've likewise found to be true.

I just finished my Taj Mahal of a hog stand, 30 yds. from the feeder. I shot about 12 arrows yesterday at varying distances, Ended up deciding one pin would work from 23-33 yds., spot on.

Best by far is the Swarovski 10x42 EL's with built in rangefinder and ARC. Only negative is won't range less than 33 yds but goes to like 1500 yds

The other negative is that WHEN the electronics give out all you have is a REALLY heavy set of binos.
