    Operation Desert Storm veterans...sound off!

Yesterday marked the 33rd anniversary that we crossed into Kuwait and kicked off the party.

Sound off if you were there.

Something is wrong with TBH again. Continually getting error messages, can't post photos, text is center aligned. Maybe it's being worked on.

Wasn’t in The Storm but was there after you guys got done whuppin up on them rakies. Was part of the rebuilding of the petroleum production infrastructure. Man, y’all literally left a pile of destruction from Kuwait City all the way across the desert. The oil fields were burnt black from all the fires the hellfighters had to put out before we could go in and begin work.
Great job guys, and thank you!!

I was in Navy Boot Camp at the time, they let us listen to the radio a little each night. First night it kicked off we listened some and then it seems like the next night or night after it was over.

Give it to you guys that were over there then, the amount of carbon smoot in the atmosphere you all should be 100% Disabled.

Wasn’t in the sandbox, but supported the operation from a remote island by Russia monitoring the skies for nukes first alert.

Doing a one woman stadium wave for the 1st MarDiv. My father was a part of that group for some time back in the mid- to late-80s.

You were probably still in Garanimals back then!

Didnt have boots on the ground in the sand but was keeping the Tomcat fleet airborne just in case those fools learned how to fly after dark! Did make it over there just in time to finish it up with some 2000 pound reminders of what not to do!
