13 degrees in Bullard, Texas this morning. 0 degree wind chill. My Lab Tex ate his breakfast and went out to chase birds and visit with his dog friends next door for a bit. I went out with him and he chased his tennis ball for a while and was ready to go back inside. He is now warm and happy sleeping in his bed!! Supposed to get above freezing tomorrow afternoon.

If my weather app is correct we are 26 hours away from getting above freezing. That would end an 84 hour stretch below 32.

It's -5 this morning in Montana, but we expect cold. Most days since this weather started have been sunny so in the daytime it's "just darn cold". Saturday morning we dropped to -36 when we woke up. That cold makes my teeth ache breathing.

Made it down to 16 this morning out on Tarkington Prairie... High today was 29... headed back down now... already 18... I have plenty of wood for the stove. Pipes and greenhouses fared ok overnight last night... hoping for the same tonight...

Despite the weather, we did have a small harvest this morning from the Fall garden (now safely in the heated greenhouse). Cut the last of this Fall's cauliflower. Additionally, we had been protecting some tomato plants that we didn't have room in the greenhouse to store... They just got too cold so my bride harvested all the green tomatoes and made pickled green tomatoes, plus I had fried green tomatoes as part of my lunch today!

First time to use it this year & of course our heater went out yesterday which is a first...it's always the AC going down in August on a Friday afternoon that usually bites me.

Have space heaters & haven't skipped a beat...we'll be in the hi 20's I reckon with the clear skies.

19 this morning Kingwood/Porter. Feels like is 19 also glad that wind has subsided those wind chill temps yesterday morning were pretty unpleasant if outside any extended time.
