We get a good bit colder weather up here in the panhandle. If we’ve got a nasty freeze coming I just run the windshield wiper fluid for a minute or two cleaning the windows thoroughly then top off with 0* fluid. Never had an issue yet, and we spend a handful of days every year in the low single digits.

That reminds me; my windshield washer motor is not working on my F250, and I need to dig into it and fix it. It rains so seldom out here I never think of it til I need it!!!

When I worked in a refinery setting in the field in my younger years we used this to inject into product lines that were susceptible to freezing. Thanks for the reminder. When mine needs replacing I buy the washer fluid hood to 0 degrees. One trip to Colorado in the winter taught this Ol Tx boy.

Dang, I almost forgot got them blanking blinkers. I better get me two bottles of alcohol so I can winterize my blanking windshield sprayer thingy as well as my blanking blinkers. Good blanking call Paycheck !
