    Don't Forget

To put a 1/2 bottle of rubbing alcohol in your windshield's squirter tank so it won't freeze and split the plastic. They are a pain to replace...

This is an interesting freeze hack.
Does the alcohol not degrad the rubber hoses and seals?
Good luck with the freeze Mr Juanito de Peligroso.

If left in there too long it can, just have to set a reminder to flush it out.

Thanks Johnny for the reminder. Leaving it in mine too long will not be a problem as much as I drive.

I just buy winter formula washer fluid. It's cheap enough.

You sound like me in that you go through wiper fluid like water. Can’t stand spots on my windshield.

Don’t forget to run the washer. The stuff needs to travel down the lines.

My dad was a trucker. Traveled Midwest and Northwest. Always put a pint in a gallon of wiper fluid in the winter

It also works in the blinker fluid.

Everyone is out of any washer fluid rated below freezing around me.
