never try it before. had a friend make some sausage and coot gumbo tonight it was great.

Ive had it in gumbo and made into a gravy over rice. A good friend’s grandpa loved Pouldeau and would send us out to get some for him when we were in high school.

i don’t remember much about it but I ate it and thought it was good at the time.

Cajun friend of mine made pot roast coots and we chowed down on it at the deer lease! It was delicious! Day before that, he did pot roast duck with mallards and teal and the coots were just as good... just took more of them to fill that big magna-lite pot!
