It's funny, I grew up in the country of western PA in the 60' 70's. My dad taught me how to change oil in a truck. We had a place near the driveway that we would drain the oil right into the ground (I know right) Why is it like gold coming out of the ground but almost a crime when you try to put it back in the ground. I bet that spot we did that at is a toxic mess.

Oh, you and pops were just fine. This picture was published in an issue of Popular Science in 1963. Just make sure you have some fine gravel handy.

          Popular Science in 2017:

Increasing rains because of climate change will lead to more agricultural runoff, and more aquatic dead zones.

Works good on keeping the grass and weeds at bay on fencelines as well.

“Natural gas” is a combination of different things. And yes it can and will freeze far from -200. I’ve seen it hundreds of times.

Lesson here is to not argue things unless you know. And then don’t post them where a bunch of oil & gas guys frequent lol.

              You’re both very wrong.

Agree. If anyone gets tired of their low oil checks PM me.

So if want to get “technical” you are also wrong.
What you have seen freezing “hundreds of times” is not natural gas itself, but the moisture and contaminates that are entrained in the natural gas..
We run all of our E/P(also a product of fracking)through driers just for this reason, to remove moisture. The flashing that occurs across control valves(pressure drops)causes freezing if there is any moisture at all present. Without the moisture, no freezing.

It is traditionally taught its made of prehistoric plant matter. I dont necessarily believe that. I think the earth continually produces it.

They claim that the Sun is shrinking too.
Now that’s a ball of fuel for you. Is it fossil fuel???
No, just another creation of our all mighty GOD.
