How far from the road is your home? Is it close enough to receive WiFi ?

Put a dash cam in your truck park it at the end of your drive way. You could put alligator clips on a battery and run it off that for power.

I like the dash cam idea. Build/buy a bird house and put your camera(s) in there. You can hide a lot of camera in a bird house. If you have a gate with an opener theres room to hide cameras in the battery box etc also. Maybe a reolink camera?

If I had to guess it is somebody on their way to work and they are heading eastbound as westbound would have to throw the bottle all the way across the road although that is only 12' so it is possible.

We do need to start saving them as well. I'll get her to pull the ones she picked up yesterday from the yard before I mowed.

          Maybe its the wife? lol.

Got the exact same problem by my property though, people throwing out the same brand of beer can for years now, in one particular spot. It's like they've walked down there
and drank on side of the road and just threw them down! Guess if that is the case, a cam would work but cars going by, I'm still doubting if I would get much on it
other than blurs. If I don't have evidence, nothing will be done. Just a mystery when their doing it though ...

Thanks for all of the replies, sorry I'm just getting back to you. There have been a couple of repeat questions so I'll answer those first. There are no intersections or convenience stores close so I'm definitely on my own there. The road is far enough away where I wouldn't get wifi, we barely get it in all rooms of the house. The closest tree is about 50' from the road but that is what I'll used for cameras, etc.

Put out some more signs of the conservative persuasion to draw them in and sit off to the side with a camera, iphone, dash cam. I would take a day off from work to bust them, but that's just me.
My wife called the sheriffs office yesterday and they said without a license plate, picture and/or video there wasn't anything they can do. It was pretty much the same response we got last time when our flags were stolen, etc. Any yes, we do plan on getting more flags put back up starting with my FU46 flag.

This thread could get good. You need donations?
I have definitely thought about the electric angle. I was ****** when my sign's got stolen a couple of years ago but there was a great deal of satisfaction knowing whoever touched them likely had grease from head to toe and all over the inside of their car (steering wheel, seat belt, etc.) because I know I have a hell of a time getting that stuff off even when I have the good soap and I doubt they were prepared for that.

I'm running into issues with quotes now so I'll just type. I'm thinking to start I'll put an old trail camera that doesn't work on the mailbox to see if it stops or gets stolen. I will put a real trail camera on a tree facing that so I can see what happens. Eventually I will put that camera pointed at my driveway to get anybody coming in or out. My son is coming home from college in another week so I'll task him with getting a dash camera and setting it up on a battery to get cars and hopefully catch them. If I do catch them we will try to press charges but I doubt they police/da/whoever will do anything, especially being Travis County. If they don't do anything I may cancel my trash pick up and just go dump everything I have in there yard and see what happens...

Hopefully this gets resolved, but we all know its just going to continue or get worse. I had a neighborhood battle with a couple HS kids a while back. Most was on FB, but they would drive by the house yelling "things" while I was in my garage. It took a while, but they lost interest and quit. Kids.

We gotta know how a grown man gets into a Facebook argument with kids. Sounds like some petty I could admire

Get a soliom+ camera. solar powered. $40 for fhe yearly charge. I use it as a gamer camera. But it will record every car that goes by. you would just have to go through them all when you find a bottle.

I love when these types of threads pop up on here, but rarely is there an outcome. Please be the one with an outcome.

I posted a video on our hood FB page of a car hauling @ss thru the hood. The teen went off making excuses for speeding. There wasn't a lot of back and forth with me, but oh boy the hood went off. Even the teen's mom was giving her a stern talking to.

I wouldn't say it was petty. I just poked the bear and sat back to let the hounds eat.

Set up a trail cam inside your property line that sends the pictures to your phone. They can delete the SD card but not the ones that were texted to you. You will have evidence of them on your property and stealing your camera.
