This is so true. I share a fence with a State Park. It's insane how liberal they've become. They will not hire a qualified person to be the super of the park. It's always a liberal. The plain honest down to Earth white people get passed over. All 3 I knew gave up and quit over the years once it dawned on them they would never be promoted.
This plus the BS of only being able to purchase or spend money with "qualified" companies. In other words minority owned. Gee that's good capitalism with our tax dollars to purposely over pay by 30-60%

Been this way since at least the 90's. Probably before then. My Grandfather was a Game Warden in Burnet County. Alot of people in the Austin office back then hated hunting and hunters, thought sport fishing should be a crime, etc.

Since the acknowledgement of the naturally occurring “political disease” TPWD employees have killed more perfectly healthy deer than the naturally occurring disease ever would. It’s just stupid..
Now they will use this as an excuse to permanently close Kerr to public hunting. Watch.
