    I carry a Glock 27 ( 40 cal.) and have never had a problem with it. I'm not a big guy ( 5'7", 150#) and I'm not exactly young (62).
I use an outside the pants, belt slide holster.

I have bought a good many pistols trying the find one I would carry. Ruger Max 380 is hands down the best followed by a Kimber Micro 9. But I have 11 rd mag in the Ruger and carry a 13 round clip. Extra clip looks like a pocket knife in front pocket or unnoticeable in the rear pocket with wallet

Start by purchasing a proper belt, then Start purchasing holsters that you can return within 30 days ( if they don’t feel right to you send them right back immediately or like the rest of us you will have $2k worth of holsters in a drawer ) keep ordering until you get the right feel. I also carry my sig macro X - with 15+1 it can get a little uncomfortable after a while but if you knock it down to 10+1 it takes quite a bit of weight off.

Sig p365 is lightweight and very easy to conceal with 10 and 12 round mags. I also have a M&P 2.0 compact with the 3.6 inch barrel that I really like. Both are comfortable enough for appendix carry.

I'm a big fan of the Springfield hellcat. I either pocket carry, or own.
