I have never had anything freezer burn from a basic vacuum sealer.
I am sure a $600 chamber sealer works better than my $200.00 external vacuum sealer, but since mine works for as long as I keep it, I ain’t spending the money on a sealer that takes longer to do what I can do with a external vacuum sealer.
Some of these chamber sealers take 30 seconds to vacuum seal. I can do 4 bags of sausage with my external in that time compared to a chamber sealer. Mainly because I can do 2 bags at a time because my sealer has 16” sealing bar.
I am sure a chamber sealer works better for long term storing, but I haven’t had an issue yet with a decent external vacuum sealer for anything in the freezer for a year.
The chamber vac sealers have big advantages. If you vac sealed anything, you know that moisture is an issue when sealing. Anything that has moisture, like fresh processed venison steaks, or whole cooked chickens, don’t seal well, or at least that’s my experience with a $500 games saver vacuum sealer. Chamber vac sealers don’t have any issues with that, and that is just one of the many advantages.

I ordered the Vevor DZ260C and a stainless cart to put it on yesterday. It's a oiled pump, but not a $1000. machine. It has great reviews.

        That sounds wonderful.
My cheap vacuum sealer is doing just fine, but if it makes you feel better about your purchase by saying I am doing it wrong, rock out.👍

You click on a thread titled “BF Chamber Vac Seal Deals” to tell everyone about how much better you are at sealing with your $200 vacuum sealer, and about how quick it seals, and how you aren’t going to buy one…all the while you get triggered at me for giving one advantage….got it! I’ll just keep rocking out!

I am just letting those who don’t know any better that you don’t need a 1k dollar chamber sealer to do your own processing. Sorry I hurt your feelings

I’ve had many dealers you mentioned and want a vacuum chamber sealer.

Go start your own thread about a ‘cheaper’ sealer if so inclined.

Now, back to recommendations on a good deal on a chamber sealer.

Just letting newcomers know you don’t need to spend this kind of money to process your own meat. Sorry you were offended too.
