Kitchen gadgets that require oil changes are about as manly as you can get. I’m ready to go kill some animals now

A $50.00 food saver works better than the freezer paper we used that seemed to work fine back in the day.

I have never had anything freezer burn from a basic vacuum sealer.
I am sure a $600 chamber sealer works better than my $200.00 external vacuum sealer, but since mine works for as long as I keep it, I ain’t spending the money on a sealer that takes longer to do what I can do with a external vacuum sealer.
Some of these chamber sealers take 30 seconds to vacuum seal. I can do 4 bags of sausage with my external in that time compared to a chamber sealer. Mainly because I can do 2 bags at a time because my sealer has 16” sealing bar.
I am sure a chamber sealer works better for long term storing, but I haven’t had an issue yet with a decent external vacuum sealer for anything in the freezer for a year.

I think you should buy one of those $1,500 dollar models. They are bound to work better than that cheap $600.00 one…lol

Well I was finally able to put my MEAT chamber vac to work and to say that I’m very impressed would be an understatement. It was a big purchase for me and if wouldn’t have been on sale I wouldn’t have it. This Machine pushes out every bit of air ( at least what I can see anyway). I haven’t tried the Mylar bags yet but I don’t think it will be an issue. I was able to get a neck roast ( bone in) in there and it still worked like a champ.

I got mine in last week. Haven’t got around to using it yet. Some instructions would have been nice. I got the oil in so am ready to try it on something.

Best thing about them is you can put up soup and things like chili. Also fresh and dehydrated garden herbs and spices. If you guys do deer sticks etc they do make a bag with a zipper like a ziplock.

Used mine for the first time this week and was very impressed!! Loved not having to make the bags beforehand and that thing rolled through a 200 pound buck without having to stop once. Always had to let my other ones cool down because they would overheat.

That’s some very solid advertising for meat chamber vacuum sealer. Thanks.

Where do y’all store these things or do you use them enough to just leave them on the cabinet?

lol- ours is on our island in the kitchen! I caught a LEM big bite mixer on sale today so I’m now shoping for a cart to hold those two and my meat grinder to roll into our pantry. We’re going to put up another shop in ‘25 so I’ll have a processing room in there.

Thanks. I was thinking my old OCD azz would go crazy with that on the cabinet. Nothing wrong with where you have to each their own of course.

Ours in in the cabinet under the island . As soon as I can finish the shop it will go in the processing room but fits in the cabinet for now.

I put mine on a Rubbermaid cart. I've had the vac master for 5 years now still going strong
