Hey, just don’t start. You ever hear the old saying, “Don’t start no $heet and there won’t be none” ?

Op I put your question in googler for Texasbowhunter.com. Info below.

”If there are particular members that are bothering you and you do not wish to see their posts or receive Private Messages from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'.

In the top right of the forum, click your Username. A dropdown menu will appear and from here you need to select 'User Settings'. On the page that appears, click 'Account' and scroll to the bottom. In the text area next to 'Ignore List', enter the Usernames of users that you want to Ignore”

Placing people on ignore is not going to help get medics and teachers more money.

Why ignore? Just be like Ttax and report to the mods that they offended your sensibilities.

I’m all for the ignore list. It keeps me out of trouble.

If there are certain people on here who just “trip your trigger,” why not simply turn them off? Makes a lot of sense to me.

Adios amigo. But go easy with that ignore list. As sensitive as you are you’ll be staring at a blank screen before long. I hope nobody quotes this so you don’t get your feelings crushed again.

Seems like some of y’all are offended that the OP wants to utilize an ignore list. Maybe it would have been wiser to ignore this thread instead of insulting the OP.
                        To each his own.

OP, I hope the one post that attempted to answer you was successful. I’ve personally never have used it.

I have thought about using it a time or two long ago. At one point a couple of guys seemed to get some kind of joy out of irritating me. Then I realized it was highly unlikely they would be that way to my face, and were just enjoying the protection the internet offers l, especially considering I have never seen any of them at Bownanza, or been on a lease or fishing trip with them. ( as I have many other tbhers )

I also have tried to be more careful with my wording, and not purposely provoke anyone, even when I want to.

Also, it helps to know your audience. Giving opinions that are contrary to the majority are going to elicit a response. If you dont want to argue, dont go on a primarily conservative forum and espouse socialist views etc

Very wise words. I couldn’t have said it any better.

The ignore function is pretty easy to find, and where did everyone go?
