It is going to be a very long drive home for Josh. I'm in Houston right now and I don't even want to think about what it will take to get to my house. Might as well stop and get a bite to eat on the way home. Thanks Saltwater for checking on all of them.

Talking to Josh, he got reports from one of his guys that's in the area that 59 is closed basically all the way from just north of Cleveland all the way to US 190 in Livingston... They are now evacuating the Livingston school kids to other area schools. Some went to Onalaska while others are being taken all the way to Huntsville...
This is really developing into a BIG mess!

According to the map, it shows smoke going over my house south of Livingston. Hope they let me go home tonight.

            Per their website:

Acids and Caustics (Phosphoric acid, acetic acid, sulfuric acid, caustic liquid)
Alcohols - Aliphatics (Isopropyl alcohol, methanol, hexane, mineral spirits
petroleum based products (off spec oil, transformer oil, turbin oil, grease, oil tank bottoms)

I saw a video from Derald's house this morning, that thing was rolling. Thank God we aren't in still in drought conditions or it could have been much worse.

yep, if we were in that drought, it would of been bad for a lot of people. Not that it isn't now, but could of been way worse.

You might want to go up I-45 and cut over past Livingston... It could well be closed for a couple days... Josh (Pineywoods) got a report from a friend on scene that they could not begin to fight the fire because there were tanker trucks full of gasoline on site that have not exploded yet so they cannot get too close to begin fighting the fire until those trucks/tankers let go...

Sure hope they get that sucker under control before tomorrow evening when that front is supposed to move through here... If not, we who live south of the site are gonna be steppin' n fetchin' to take care of ourselves and our animals and birds and such... when the wind shifts from Southeast to north/northwest...

All highway traffic headed south on 59 is being diverted through Livingston and downtown is a cluster.

Pat called and said that he can’t get home because of closures and can’t afford a motel cause he spent all of his money on emergency beer. If anyone is close please help this brotha out.

They have started fighting the fire with ladder trucks, using foam and water. So don't know how long that will take.

If Pat can't get home then I am sure I can't either. Gumbo Man where is he at, might as well help him drink his emergency beer.
