Yes, you’re mistaken. Texas penal code 46.05-prohibited weapons.

Why do you continue to go there?

A silencer/suppressor is not a prohibited weapon in Texas.

No chance I would ever shoot there. I don't care if it costs more and is less convenient, I would find another place to shoot.

Actually, you are mistaken. Show me where a suppressor is a prohibited weapon in Texas. Once you realize they are not, you will realize you are the one that is wrong and that since they are not illegal, Texas LE has no authority over them.

I don't think it's a big deal if they ask, be polite and show them. However, i would look for another place to shoot. People that do things like that tend to be people I don't really get along with.

seems like they'd prefer everyone using cans in there

A big part for me with bullet hole is they’re complete a holes about it. “Show me your papers, you disgusting Jew” attitude vs “you mind if I make sure you got that thing legally, friend?”
Sounds like the same a hole “wolf” that works at Gunshack. They have crappy attitudes !

Not paying attention to the details. And now I remember this being a thing recently.

No, I’ve never been checked, but I’ll never return if one ever does. None of their business, if it’s legal or not. I don’t keep copies of my tax stamps in my phone, never really thought I’d need them.

A Place to Shoot is all I ever go to. I live a lot closer to BH but like the setup a lot more at a place to shoot.

Youre not paying attention to the details. Hb 957 struck the part about possesing silencers in the state. Click image for larger version
