              Whatever it is, it makes no sense.
              Threads, washer and nut look brand new, other part looks like it has been around 20 years
              From what I can see, there was nothing attached to it. Guess it could have been pressed in

              Post up what it came off of and maybe someone can figure it out

                  It's a bed anchor. They are press fit into the frame, so they do not need any expansion cuts to hold them in place. When they rust they become loose, which is what yours did. You can probably find replacement parts on E bay motors.
