    Who knows what this is?

    This was the thing that was in the bed of my pickup that held the bedslide in place. It looks like an early version of a riv nut. I took the nut off to take the bedslide out and this just pulled out. I don't understand how it worked. Doesn't look like it could swell when tightened down. Is it missing something?

          Threaded end was holding the bedslide frame in to the pickup bed. Cylinder end was just pushed thru the bottom of my pickup bed. Somehow it anchored.

              It sure is a small one do they come in different sizes, for mechanical uses of course.

                        The ones with the strap are made of plastic. They’re cheap and they don’t last as long. They do, however, come in a variety of scents and colors.
