Straw Cowboy hat

I have gone back and searched the forums but did not find the thread that I was looking for.
I have worn a felt hat for 10 years now. I love that hat. I have always wanted a straw hat. But just can not find "the one" Point me in the direction please. I wear a 7 1/4 long oval so its hard to find a straw that does not have a gap around my ears.

I wear 7 1/4 long oval as well. Bought my last one from Double R Hat House in Elgin and it fits perfectly. Its an American Hat Company Tuf Cooper. I would definitely recommend them if you are ever in their area.

Just came from Jordans sale barn in San Saba. Every cowboy there was sporting straw in this heat.
“Harry’s” in San Saba has the best selection of hats I have seen if you are ever out that way.

American is what I wear.... You wear a felt in the summer??!! Just so you'll know unofficial hat season is Labor day to Memorial day = felt.....Memorial day to Labor day = straw. BUT with TX weather the way it is you may change hat seasons twice in one week! Lol

I wear a felt hat all year round. Or baseball cap. I am not bougie and the straw in summer felt in winter.

Who makes round hats? Not round oval or oval, my head is round and I have a problem finding one.
