PYBuck - I live rent free in those guys head that bash me. They don't bother me much. If my posts bother them the have the option to skip over my posts. IMO they are the ones choosing to cause problems. It's not my questions.

Glen - That's what I'm doing. Asking. But since the usuals took the thread down a path of no return there won't be a sane person reply. And yes my wife was a Mormon 25 years ago. She wasn't ever taught anything about polygamy in that Church. I'd assume I'd get a different answer depending on where the Mormon grew up, how long they've been in the Church, etc.

dgilbert -Sure I trolled a lot in the past. It's the same guys that try their best to make every post I make a troll job. They do it, it's not my question. Really read a thread or 2 of mine. If those yahoos would ignore, skip, or hit the back button (since they can't seem to not read my posts even though they hate every one of them) the thread would get an answer or two or just fade away.

when I lived in Wyoming I would go over to SLC occasionally. I met a Morman girl that told me that when ol Breedem Young came over the mountain and saw the salt lake valley he said "this is where we are gonna fish and fornicate for the rest of eternity". And then when he walked down to the lake and found out how salty it was he said " so much for the fishing"

The story is supposedly he said "this is the place" but I think the others told him there was no way they were going across that desert and they said "this is the place !" but hey, it's their story and they can tell it how they want......one thing they did get right was numbering all the addresses from the corner of the temple and making the streets wide enough to turn an ox cart in, nice wide streets !!

I have had Mormons co-workers/friends. Nicest people ever. I always try to get them to drink a beer with me, but never been successful. They will cheat and slam a Monster energy drink no problem, but won't touchy the beer. Personal bucket list goal I guess.

Go watch pastor Jeff Durbin debate Mormons on YouTube. It will answer all the questions you are asking and more.
I'm not slamming Mormons nor their beliefs. Everyone has a right to believe what that want to believe.
There are some very hard to fathom Moron beliefs that they do not readily advertise.
I would in no way consider Mormonism Christianity. Its almost as dissimilar to Christianity as Islam.

My intent was not to slam them either. As I said they can believe what they want.

But I also believe we all should be at least somewhat knowledgeable on most religions.

I've always know (but it's become apparent again) that what Mormons (the average guy) believes is totally different than what people who study Mormonism say they believe by reading Mormon book (DoM, D&C, prophet writings PoGP, etc.)
