Looks like South Texas is going to get some. Bring it!

I love to dove hunt, but I'd take rain the whole month of September over dove hunting at this point.

Supposedly an upper level low will be in Texas an hopefully bring a lot of rain. Models are starting to come in agreement

I remember once upon a time a guy named Harvey came a calling on the dove opener here along the Gulf coast… Be careful what you wish for. I’m jus’ sayin’…

My dad scouted our dove ponds last week. There is about a foot of water left in about a 12' pond. He said the birds were thick.

I’ll just wait till the second season.
We only had 2 days under 100 degrees this month

We are extremely poor shape for winter in Brown county.
Tanks about dry and very few birds.

It's not looking like rain is gonna hit North Texas for the opener. Gonna be hot. I keep reading there's alot more dove this year but they sure are'nt in my area of Archer county

I sure wouldn’t mind getting rained out for White Wing opener in the valley. It would be nice to see rain start on Wednesday in Dallas and rain all the way down to Brownsville for the next 6 - 7 days. Wishful thinking

Would gladly take some. But don't look like it here in DFW area. In fact, we are scheduled for a record breaker of most 100+ days to start Sept. Most we've ever had has been 2 days for Sept.

I will be glad to see the 70s for the lows again, much more the 60s! LOL!
