Dove opener rain?

Lots of activity in the tropics right now, a GOM or EPAC storm could create a rain event and not be included in current model forecasts

It's the dove opener, it could be a bone-dry forecast and you still get a good soaking over the opener.

It’s gonna take quite a front to move the lid off this pressure cooker. It will happen eventually like always but it sure looks like we’re stuck under this heat dome for a while longer

Was looking earlier. Slight changes in the NETX area about SEPT 5th... One can hope. We still need another cutting to make it.

Like I said in another thread, I ain’t been dove hunting since probably 2010 or so, but if that’s what it takes to get rain, please Lord, flood me out ! I’ll be making the trip to N Texas to dove hunt on September 1 regardless.
