My wife shoots 48 pounds and has killed several large bodied WT and an axis buck with 1 3/8" grim reapers. Passes through most and has never lost one. 400 spine axis arrows @ 27.5" with a 50 grain half-out and a 100 grain broadhead. I shoot the 2" WT Special. Devastating.

As a long time mechanical user, both rage and grim reaper, I have come to realize that fixed heads are much more reliable, especially two blade designs, with a single bevel probably being the best out there. Sure, go ahead and say I drank the kool aide if you want, but I am a firm believer that a heavy arrow with a coc two blade head is the best there is for any game animal. For me I shoot 27" draw at 57lbs and a 575 grain arrow that is tipped with a 150gr stinger buzzcut (swapping to a 200grain single bevel if I can ever get them (backordered)). My mechanicals always killed my deer, but not always my pigs. Since going heavy and a fixed two blade, my pigs have not faired so well.

Been a fan of the Rage Hypo's for a while. I only pull 55# and have no problem with penetration on whitetails. Practice tip accuracy with my set up and awesome bloodtrails.
Gonna give the new SEVR 1.75 a try this year. Rear deploy just like the Rage and basically the same head as the Randy Ulmer head that came out a few years back.
