The Best Stop - Katy, TX

Really looking forward to the Katy store opening. Outstanding boudin. I have friends that have me pick up boxes of boudin every time I go to Louisiana.

I'm friends with the guys opening them. There will be several across the state along with a food truck. They bought the franchise rights in tx.

Maybe they'll open some up this way! They had Hebert's in Longview forever and then in a year or so they were opened all over N Tx and then all gone about as fast a year later. Sad cause they're broccoli cheese stuffed chicken was my favorite.

By the looks of the building in the picture it looks like it will be in the strip mall right next door to In-N-Out.

Katy location has been in the works for a while now. Curious if they are getting ready to open. Supposed to be one in the Woodlands as well.

I am on I10 in LA alot, and they used to be a standard stop for me. I will say KARTCHNER'S has replaced them though when I am in the area and going to stop. Heck, I have even started choosing Market Basket over them for convenience.

I am eating Kartchner's cracklin while typing this response.......even better than my 10 year standard Billy's!!!! Never been a huge fan of BEST STOP but that is better than what is in the Houston Metro currently.

I tend to ageee. Actually none in Scott are my top pics for anywhere in the Acadiana region. Just like the idea of better options here.

I just picture a place that smokes stuff and makes top quality cajun food....not in a building that could have also been a Smoothie King or Sally Beauty supply. Just my sole opinion. But i guess its not whats on the outside that counts.
