7" twist will stabile 55gr soft points just fine, and you can get plenty of cheap bullets at academy for 223 if you dont want to wait for a shipment from PSA. the bad thing about an FMJ, is bullet wont expand, a marginal hit will be less lethal, so id not use it. the 62gr Bears or anything by nosler, winchester PP, and Barnes will penetrate like the dickens even on shoulder shots. match type and varmint bullets will explode and not penetrate, so head shots are its best course.

I use a 62gr winchester, CXP2 (I think) has a positive expanding point, they work well... Thats what the kids shoot deer with as well...

Thats a wilson upper, and aeroprecision lower.... lots of extras... the best was the 1.5lb single stage JARD trigger.

I have to shoot the light stuff cause my barrel is 1:9 twist. But, I killed a bunch of them with .55 grain Winchesters.
