In the unfortunate event I ended up with C or some other ailment That required colon removal am I gonna wind up with a colostomy bag? I have a buddy that has one (cancer) and he says,” you get used to it, but no one else does.”

I appreciate the input from both of y’all. It is something I will need to look into. As it stands I have a couple of flare ups a year and can manage them with out a Dr. Heck, it seems going to the Dr. makes me sicker. They prescribe antibiotics that cause issues. I can just regulate my diet (basically chicken broth and water for 4-5 days) and it goes away. If they get more frequent or less manageable I’ll seriously consider surgery.
