BFG KO2 or Toyo Open Country AT/2

I am currently running the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT and they are great. A bit more on the aggressive side but it is surprisingly quiet, and has great wet road grip. I have also had the Cooper AT in the past (now it is the AT3 XLT) and they were great for a road tire with some light offroad use. Some others I have been looking at are the Toyo Open Country AT3, Maxxis Razr AT, and the Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP.

I am running the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires on my F150 and I love them. Nice and quiet, handle the rough stuff well, and my mileage has increased slightly over the BFG KO2's I was running before.

I’m currently running Toyo Open Country AT3 and they aren’t bad.

I have a lot of rocks to contend with so my tires last maybe a year. If the Pathfinder was in my size, I’d probably just run them for my use.
Those Nokian Rockproof look like a tough tire.....kevlar infused aramid sidewalls

I have always been a fan of BFG AT KO2s for everything. Have run them on the last 3 HD's I've owned. Have some that are my summer tires on my truck currently. I also have winter tires that are Hankook Dynapro AT2 xtremes that I haven't had any complaints about. Hankook also makes the AT2 that is just slightly less aggressive.

After reading what you're putting the tires on, really any AT is going to be just fine being as a jeep doesn't weigh enough to wear tires out too quick just on the highway. Probably just let the wife pick so she is happy haha.

These will probably be the next ones I go with here in the next couple of months before deer season starts. They score high on the temp ratings and tread life and seem like a good highway/AT tire. I ran KO2s on my last truck, and they were good. Still had plenty of life after putting 50k on them when I sold my truck. People either love or hate those tires. All of them are expensive. Good luck with your search.

Whatever you decide, go with E rated 10 ply tire. Tougher tire, usually a tad more tread depth and better for hauling,

Ahh, that opens up a ton of possibilities. Definitely not Ridge Grapplers though. Those tires are junk. BFG has a new tire coming out, BFG HD Terrain. Goodyear Duratracs would be gold on a Jeep. BFG AT's would last forever, and would be the route I would go. I personally would find a softer rubber tire over the hard tires used on 3/4 ton trucks. Soft are just quieter, and on a Jeep they will last forever.
