      .264 is a long range round that was/is favored to hunt speed goats and mulies out west where 400-500 yard shots had to be made. The parent cartridge was the .375 H&H belted case. I load this round for a friend of mine using Berger 140gr VLD's and AA8700 powder. He says that at 300 yards he can hold the cross hairs on the animal and take the shot with the gun zeroed at 1.5" high at 100. That's a flat shooting round if there ever was one.
