G23 here. I had an XD 45 tactical and I loved it, but I had to send it back for repair once got it back sold it, and the guy I sold it to had to send it back also. M&P's are pretty sweet too.

it's no surprise that no one has mentioned the S&W sigma. it's less than 300 bucks seems to function well and with an hour in time can have the trigger where it needs to be. my wife bought me one for Christmas and after 200 rounds I'm impressed. I would not carry this gun on my person but I'm a 1911 guy. for carrying in the field or as a console gun it's great.
