My dog is escaping! Need some advice.

Looking for some suggestions on keeping my do in the back yard. He is digging under the fence and getting out. Reasonable price options.

    Thanks,

            First question, is he neutered?

Second question: What kind of fence do you have now? I am assuming a standard wooden fence.

If so, then I would probably trench out around the fences, and put bricks down probably three wide by two deep. This will assist in not digging.

Me and my brother dug a small trench under the fence, took hog panels and cut them into 8" high strips, nailed the panel strips to the bottom of the fence and then filled the trench with concrete.

Hog panels cut them in half or thirds and lay and stake them up next to fence. If yard is small enough it is practical and you can mow over it.

                          Hot wire.
Tractor Supply has affordable smaller units (we have one) -- easy to setup.
I can lay a piece of the wire on a steak and throw it in the middle of yard and go in the house.. our leopard dog wont go near it.

Put his poop in the holes he is digging and he won't dig there again. We have done that with our last two dogs and it does the trick.
