6 hunters on 600 acres is $5,833.33 per hunter!! Wow!! What are people really thinking when they come up with these ridiculous amounts of money to come hunt on their land. This is terrible where we are headed in hunting!! Sometimes I don't know if I should get a new hobby or just hunt public land.

This is why I miss hunting in Wyoming. From my old house I had over a million acres of national forest and state land to hunt. I could even go out there and not see another sole too!!

It's getting to where a working man can't afford to hunt anymore, it make's me sad that in the next 10 yrs my hunting might be over because I'm not rich.

Totally agree here!!! When I see Places for lease I usually just look at them and shake my head! I can't afford to spend 3k on a lease n have food to eat at home still! Granted my wife n I make over a 100k a year but I just can't justify spending that for a "maybe" kill!! That's why I don't mind hunting in Fayette county. There aren't a ton of deer but it's FREE!!!!! Just a lil extra work n it will pay off...
