      Now that makes a bit of sense to me. Gashed the hull on a reef (I read it was 160 feet long) and did their best to run it aground so it wouldn't completely sink and the passengers and crew could be rescued.

              Different country different rules. MOst cases yes, because this captain's manifest included civilians and damages to territorial waters. My guess is the Italian government is in the right.



              It takes a lot of training to command one of these. there is a reason why.
