You are required to possess a valid Texas Hunting License in order to hunt Native or Non-native Exotic Animals in Texas, although there are no state bag or possession limits or closed seasons on exotic wild game animals.Last edited by El Coyote; 01-12-2012, 06:26 PM.

I may be wrong. Found this on TP&W's site. Willl call a G/W tomorrow.
Feral hogs are unprotected, exotic, non-game animals. Therefore, they may be taken by any means or methods at any time of year. There are no seasons or bag limits, however a hunting license and landowner permission are required to hunt them.
