I just picked up my deer from Syracuse. Got the bacon wrapped back strap, chili, hickory smoke sausage and German sausage. Can't wait to dig in this weekend. Great to see the freezer with vinison again.

A good friend of mine let his wife make him move to Florida this off season. He hunts with my uncle up in Childress and flys for free, so he just decided to fly back a couple times this season and stay for a week or two at a time. After opening weekend he was home in Florkistan and fell asleep in the recliner and accidentaly swallowed a toothpick. It punctured his stomach and **** near killed him. He's back up and goin now but deer season ended right then for him. We're talkin about a redneck from Missoura here too, eats very little meat that isn't wild game.......and there he is in Florkistan with a dry freezer. Me and Uncle Bud decided to do something about it, so I killed a doe and took to my friends at Syracuse's. Of course it took me a week to figure out how we wanted it processed, and a while to get the right new address right, and blah blah blah. Matt at Syracuse had it all under control though, he got the thing handled quick fast and in a hurry, shipping and all!
I got a call from Sonny down in Fl. yesterday, and friends and neighbors I'm here to tell ya, that was one excited redneck!!Syracuse knocked it out again!
Great product, great service, better people.

Like I said, I can understand that their sausages may be the best thing ever as well as any other specialty items done there. I wasnt questioning that.
I was just trying to figure out how their "deer meat" was the best thing ever. The original post said Holy cow, I cant believe how good their deer meat is so I was wondering if they did something special to their steaks or ground meat to make it better/different than anywhere else.

I had 2 deer processed this year for the first time. So far, I've eaten a few pounds of ground venison and it was good (no gameyness at all). I also ate some hickory sausage the other day and it was good. I have some fresh german rings I need to try as well as some jalapeno sausage and their jerky. Backstraps and tenderloins for the grill or skillet as well.
