I looked at the website and a couple things aren't real clear to me. What if I brought in a deer quartered already and wanted hamburger and steaks made. Would I just pay the per pound price listed on the website? How much would tenderized chicken fry be? I have been using Raggedy Creek in Crowell, but would like to try Syracuse.

I finally took the plunge and took a deer to Syracuse's. I'm still waiting to pick it up but you can't rush something this good!

All their stuff is meat candy!

I just got back from a CHili-Cookoff fundraiser up at the elementary school my wife teaches at.

Venison chili from Syracuse was leading the race by a mile.

They wouldn't let me in with my cobur!

I understand sausages and stuff like that being better than other places, but how can a deer processed there taste better than the same deer processed somewhere else?
(assuming the other place follows all the same health standards)

All they do is cut it. Wouldn't a backstrap cut there taste just like a backstrap cut in your garage or any other processor?

Am I missing something? Do they season it or do something special to it?

The backstraps you can get wrapped with bacon, it is preseasoned. Cook it just right on the grill and it melts in your mouth. I do not take my deer anywhere else. The texas twisters are very good too.
