After watching this game so far, it is clear to me that Alabama is the #1 team in the nation this year. If you watched the first game, Alabama dominated most of that game too. It is going to be sad to see a split national champion, with most of the AP voters giving LSU a share since they will have the same record. Not a fan of Alabama, but just wish Alabama would get the sole recognition they deserve.

The AP will vote on a mythical National Champion, but it's meaningless. No doubt Bammer will be #1 in both, but I guarantee that Ok. State will be lobbying that they should be the AP champ.

They don't have the same record! LSU is 13-1 and Alabama is 12-1. That's gonna comfound things more (which is a good thing.....maybe those idiots will really consider a playoff). Alabama should have won the first game....but they did not. Alabama made up for it tonight and proved they are a better team.

I also don't see LSU geting a share of the title after a totally dominating shutout.
