                          Congrats on the double. Now send some of that luck my way, I haven't had a shot at a deer in almost a month up here in Wisconsin. Goes to show that during rifle season, when the woods are full of people, gun shots in every direction, anything can happen. I always sit tight. Like my dad used to say, "It's pretty tough to shoot a deer in the woods. It's REALLY tough to shoot one off your couch."

                            I had a doe go over to dead yote and stomp it for five minutes before leaving it.

                              I shot a yote several years ago and had a young 6 pt come in on the same trail and walk within 5 ft of the dead yote. He didn't like it, stomped his foot and sniffed all around, but he didn't leave either.

                                I shot a yote this year and let him lay. Had deer walk past him and never look at him.
