    Just shot a coyote, question?

Shot a yote with my rifle, waiting on a doe, but couldn't let him walk! What are the chances a deer will still come out later?

How close is he to your setup? If he's not real close and dead upwind of the feeder, you're probably okay.

I'd stay still, what do you have to lose maybe 45 minutes?

They could come out at any time. Stay put.

On any of my land... if you pass on a yote, stray dog, or bobcat... you are in deep doo doo!

That said, I shot a bobcat once and within 30 minutes had a blackbuck doe walk right up to it.

Shot the yote, 30 mins later a nice young 8 and a spike came out that I have been after! Spike is in the cooler! They were downwind and could smell him, they were very cautious and looked right where he was laying. They couldn't see him because of the tall grass, but they knew something was up!

I had deer walk within 5 feet of a coyote I shot a couple weeks ago.. one doe even sniffed at it and went on to graze next to it..all within 15 minutes of it being shot.
Guess a lot has to do with the temperment of the deer in your area though.

Couple weeks ago I shot at a bobcat to the 9 o'clock from my stand. Less than a minute later a small 8 walked into the right of way to my 3 o'clock less than 75 yards away. If one is there, he will show.

We shot a coyote yesterday morning early. He dropped at the feeder. I dragged him off and had more deer come and eat after about 30 mins.
