Chill homie! He was responding to my post. I'm an Aggie and don't see anything wrong with Longhorns fans discussing our schedule or us talking about theirs.

I think we realistically can hope for 5 wins of the games in place. Not sure who the open spots will be filled with. Then again we may spoil a game or blow a couple we could win. We proved that this year!

Maybe that 3rd open date can be for a bowl game

They don't care about what conference AM plays in or their record. They do care about the rivalry that AM bailed out on that went back 117 years.

Didn't UT decline to not schedule the Aggs out of spite? They do have a few holes in the schedule.

Texas and A&M aren't playing next year...

Was it spite or you can't have your cake and eat it too!

Sure will be neat to see them play each other in the Cotton Bowl some day in the future!

The schedule is a lil' rough, but that's part of bein' in the "big leagues". In 3 years a ton o' big shot recruits will be leaning towards A&M...(close to home, and playing on the big stage.) Just my 2 cents.

ATM will have to win or be real competitive for that to happen. just being in the SEC will not do it.

Do you express your own feelings OR every Longhorn fan?

Well, I guess that depends on which Longhorn fans you listen to. I've heard many comments from horns fans on TBH to the effect of, "We are A&M's rival, but they are not our rival. OU is our rival, not A&M." Etc. Etc. After hearing that kind of talk long enough, it's easy to come to the point of saying, "Well, if the Longhorns don't think the rivalry is any big deal, why should we be the ones concerned about it?" In the end, I think A&M just did what was best for A&M.

Definitely a tough schedule. Definitely will be hard to take so many losses. But presumably the losses will be at the hands of better teams rather than losing by shooting ourselves in the foot against worse teams, which caused most of our losses this year. After this season, we can only get better. The record may not keep up with overall improvement but eventually the two will meet on the upslope. Nobody can say we're scared to play a tough schedule that's for sure.

Aggies didn't "bail" on anything....the horns are the ones who won't play the game. You should get your facts straight.
