I can do the less wide square toe like the Ariat Roughstocks. Got a pair on order now. The really wide square toe is just not a look I like in boots or dress shoes for that matter. I call'em spatulla wear....looks like you are ready to flip some pancakes.

But hey, different strokes for different folks.

The Houston Rodeo will show what the current fashion is, it starts the last week of Feb.

What? Square toes have been around for at least 150 years!

Go see Pablo Jass in Lampasas. Best I've ever seen. He was Ray Jone's aprentice for years. After Ray died his widow gave Pablo the patent on the toe bug and away he went. They are a work of art and they will last about 4 times as long as and other store boot.

            IMO

Sure they have, they just are not in style very often.
They were in style in the 60's - 70's and again for the last 5 years or so.

Just like everything else they will go out of style and people will stop buying them.
They will come back around in another 20 or 30 years.

Bell bottoms were all the rage in the 60's and early 70's and came back in the early 90's for a few years.

They are still around today, and will probably never go away, just not many people wearing them...

What's wrong with bell bottoms? I have been thinking of buying some bell bottom camo hunting pants...can I come hunting with you?

                  Howard nailed it...but I digress!

I don't know where he comes up with the bull he says.lol

                      Now that's funny.
Can't bring myself to wear those square toes. Problem is there are few if any normal boots left. I'm just going to stick with my Justin work boots for now. Maybe this fad will fade like those big collars and leisure suits.

I remember when people were saying the same thing about the rounded toes boots compared to the old pointy toes
